Moniker’s corporate travel and events business is expanding, and we are looking to hire talented and passionate people to support the team during our growth. The Trip Coordinator Internship will be a part of the Trip Planning team, and support the Operations Team in managing the day-to-day business and client programs. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in helping us service our roster of clients in planning and executing Corporate Incentive Trips, Retreats, & Meetings both in Canada and abroad.

All successful applicants will be expected to familiarize themselves with all destinations, properties, and suppliers where we operate our programs both in Canada and internationally. They will learn Moniker’s planning process, our approach to corporate travel and events, and what exceptional client service involves. Following this, they will master the handling of large amounts of detail required to plan and operate trips and events in order to ensure our programs meet with the high standards of excellence our clients expect from us.

As Moniker is a young and relatively small company, we place a larger emphasis on ensuring the right personality and cultural fit of our growing team with the culture of our office and brand. Our belief is that at the junior level - skills can be taught and trained, but attitude and a shared belief in our vision is of more importance.

The ideal candidate will in short order be a “Jack or Jill-of-all-trades”, but have the initiative and eagerness to become a master of as many facets of our business as possible. As they will be involved with client facing projects and work, a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail is critical.

  3. A New York based client has approached us with a briefing to help design an Incentive Trip to reward their top Sales Agents for a very successful year. Put together a high-level proposal and itinerary of what you would do with US$250,000 and 100 people over the course of 4 days on in Incentive Trip, anywhere in the world, that fits within their budget.
  4. Describe, in your own words, what you imagine a week working at Moniker would entail?
  5. Write a convincing promotional blurb on why we should go to your favourite travel destination.
