Sourcegraph Ireland

For this year's retreat, the Sourcegraph team brought everyone to Dublin, Ireland, for a week of team-building, alignment, and destination fun!

We worked with Sourcegraph to bring their 98-person team to the Irish countryside for a group adventure to remember. The week started with a company-wide kick-off meeting, and incorporated tons of co-working time and brainstorming breakouts to keep everyone engaged. We also immersed the group in the destination with golf lessons, city strolls, a tour of the Guiness Storehouse, and even a treasurehunt for some healthy competition. The event culminated in a final evening complete with live music, Irish dance performers, and a classic pub night filled with dancing and laughter!

Airalo Away Vietnam

For this year's Airalo Away, we took the entire team to the remote island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam for a week of soaking up the culture and stunning views of the country.

This year’s Airalo Away took place in the exciting Phu Quoc, Vietnam. We loved working with Airalo to bring this fantastic program to life. The entire group’s energy was truly infectious! Highlights included an all-hands meeting, valuable co-working time, a beach clean-up, island hopping, sightseeing, beach yoga, a cooking class, and more! The entire week culminated in a unique Vietnamese Night Market-themed dinner to really finish the week off in style and leave the group with truly special memories.

Plex Vietnam Retreat

For Plexcon’s fully remote team of 110, we crafted a weeklong retreat in Vietnam filled with culture, collaboration, and creativity, featuring a folklore-inspired team competition across Ha Long Bay and the hills of Quang Ninh.

For Plexcon’s 2025 retreat, we brought 110 remote team members together in Vietnam for a week designed to deepen connection and strengthen culture with just the right mix of strategy, surprise, and shared experience. The journey began in Hanoi, followed by a scenic escape to Quang Ninh province where strategy sessions and a company-wide hackathon were paired with cooking classes, cable car adventures, and unforgettable meals. Throughout the week, teams competed in a custom Moniker experience inspired by Vietnamese legends. Challenges included racing through nearby villages, cracking puzzle boxes, protecting eggs in high-stakes engineering feats, and collecting mythical badges of honour. With every challenge completed and meal shared, the Plexcon team left feeling more connected, aligned, and energised than ever before.

Webflow San Diego Retreat

Webflow’s 2026 Kick Off in sunny San Diego brought over 650 team members together for a high-energy week of strategy, celebration, and serious team spirit—ending with a private takeover of Belmont Park.

The Webflow 2026 Kick Off Event in sunny San Diego was one of our biggest team events yet with over 650 in-person attendees and even more attending virtually. We brought their Team Spirit vision to life and weaved this theme throughout the entire week including their insightful sessions, keynote speeches, all-hands meetings and exciting evening events! Highlights also included karaoke, outdoor dinners, department breakouts, strategy sessions and live music breaks during meetings to keep everyone engaged. We wrapped up the whole week with an epic final event at Belmont Park. The Webflow team had the entire amusement park to themselves to let loose, hop on the rides, enjoy delicious food and make some magical memories.

Moniker Maryland Retreat

Every August, we step away from the screens and into somewhere special—this year, a Maryland farmhouse—for Minikon, our internal summer retreat.

Each August, we trade Zoom rooms for real ones and gather for Minikon—our slightly shorter, but no less meaningful, internal retreat. This year’s setting? A cozy converted farmhouse in Maryland, where the bars were low (cell reception), but the vibes were sky high. From Squid Games-style Olympics to a late-night sing-along around the campfire, we blended strategy with s’mores and came away with more than just a plan, we found presence. The highlights? Sean’s State of the Union with new role reveals and a look back, and forward! A full-team unpacking of Unreasonable Hospitality, a “Find Your X Factor” session with Barrett Ersek, a mentorship program kickoff, team-cooked meals, new headshots, and a letter exchange that left no dry eye in the house! Turns out, you don’t need palm trees or PowerPoints to build great culture. Just a farmhouse, a few flaming marshmallows, and a team that shows up for each other.

Help Scout Rome Retreat

For Help Scout’s annual all-hands retreat, we levelled up this year with a destination that will be hard to beat - The Eternal City - in Rome, Italy!

We whisked the entire 115-person Help Scout team away to Rome for a week of team togetherness, valuable work sessions, and immersive destination experiences. The week’s meetings ranged from all-hands sessions, brand awareness, and manager’s meet-ups, to small team breakouts, new systems training, and even a “pitch party”! Don’t worry, we still made sure each guest got the opportunity to truly experience the destination through coffee breaks featuring traditional Italian treats, dine-arounds at local restaurants, and a “Roam in Rome” city adventure that ended with team members getting to witness the unveiling of the new Pope in Vatican City!

Moniker Nicaragua Retreat

In 2025, we brought the entire Moniker team together in Nicaragua. We aligned on goals, discussed challenges and opportunities facing the company, deepened our connections and got fired up for the exciting year ahead!

Highlights included our very own "State of the Union" presentation, OKR workshop, co-working time, baby turtle release, campfire team-building games, beach clean-up, horseback riding, sand boarding, Moniker awards and a catamaran day trip. We also have a very special opportunity to work with a local charitable organization, Madres de Nicaragua, where we visited the community we are contributing to. Nicaragua was the perfect spot to enjoy team-togetherness while embracing our destination and giving back to the local community.

Airalo Mexico Retreat

For this year’s team-building retreat, Airalo whisked their 150 person team off to sunny Costa Mujeres, Mexico.

While embracing the vibrant culture of their destination, we created a balanced week of meetings, activities and leisure. Mornings were spent in valuable team sessions and breakouts, while afternoons were reserved for exciting team-building and destination activities! Highlights included a “Guacamole Frenzy” cooking competition, a catamaran trip, cenote adventure, tequila tasting, and an optional day trip to Playa del Carmen. We were also so excited to help incorporate a Rosh Hashanah celebration for oru guests. The week culminated in an electric final fiesta complete with neon lights, an epic dance floor, coloruful decorations and live performers that had everyone’s jaws dropping as they walked in!

Moniker PEI Retreat

The Moniker team headed out East to the province of Prince Edward Island for a week of learning, team-building, and warm East Coast hospitality.

We hosted several work and team sessions, put on an epic Moniker Olympics, enjoyed a day out on the water with the Fiddling Fisherman, among other activities! The week was capped off by an absolutely fantastic dinner experience at Chef Michael Smith's "Fire Works" feast.

FinTech Singapore Summit

With the week's primary focus being team building and soaking up Singaporean culture, the Moniker team sought out once-in-a-lifetime activities and quintessential dinner venues to host this 180 person group throughout the week.

Kicking things off with an Amazing Race around the downtown core and Chinatown, followed by dinner at the historic Tamarind Hill, the group’s energy in Singapore was unmistakable! We kept the excitement up with interactive cooking classes, delicious food tours, a trip to the renowned Gardens by the Bay, as well as a group dinner at the Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre. Standout days included our full group Dragon Boat Race competition complete with a traditional dragon dance, and a relaxing day spent together at Tanjong Beach Club playing human foosball and bumper ball. We couldn't think of a better finale to such an incredible week than to bring the group up to the Sky Lounge of the iconic Marina Bay Sands for dinner, cocktails, and dancing with a unforgettable view of the city.

Webflow Quebec Retreat

Our largest retreat to date, we brought a whopping 570 people to beautiful Quebec City for the first of Webflow’s annual retreats.

We were so excited to help Webflow bring back their annual, company-wide retreats with a futuristic-themed, 5-day retreat at the majestic Quebec City Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The Moniker team seamlessly facilitated massive company-wide meetings, including live-streaming to all attendees not on site, and breakout sessions of up to 20 different internal teams. Don’t worry, we also put together a range of team-bonding activities such as a city scavenger hunt, morning yoga, a Kicks for Kidz charity activity, a city walking tour, a virtual amazing race, and even an after-party called “Club Webflow”. We weaved the futuristic theme throughout both meetings and activities and made sure to incorporate the beautiful destination into this memorable retreat.

Help Scout Quebec Retreat

The Help Scout team brought their team to Saint-Sauveur, Quebec for a productive week together!

The Moniker team facilitated an engaging week of all-hands meetings, keynote presentations, and valuable departmental breakouts. Help Scout also incorporated additional sessions such as an enneagram activity and pitch party brainstorming meeting to generate new ideas and enhance productivity. We of course sprinkled in some exciting team-building activities like movie and karaoke nights, an Indigenous storyteller, bubble soccer, wine tasting, and a culinary challenge for the ideal balance of productivity and team-bonding fun!

BlueCat Niagara Retreat

For their annual retreat, we took the entire Bluecat team of 430 people to the always iconic, Niagara Falls!

The Moniker team made sure that Bluecat’s 4-day retreat was as productive and engaging as possible! We facilitated keynote speakers, customer panels, breakout meetings, a spotlight series, and of course, some exciting team-building activities at the Niagara Fun Zone. Highlights included the welcome reception at Table Rock House Restaurant overlooking the falls, which were even lit up in Bluecat’s colours, and an amazing awards dinner with a lively karaoke after-party!

Real Los Cabos Retreat

For a week of fun, relaxation, and bonding, Real Brokerage brought their entire 120-person team to the stunning Los Cabos, Mexico.

Real Brokerage’s vision was to highlight the natural beauty and rich culture of their destination while creating an environment where their team could bond, make memories together and relax. Team-building activities included beach olympics and ziplining, and cultural experiences ranged from a city tour to an exciting salsa class. To enhance the retreat even more, each evening had a theme. A tropical-chic night on the beach with fire dancers and a white night on a Los Cabos cruise were amazing, but the final night: Aquatic Dreams complete with mermaids, LED performers and a costume contest really took the cake!

Sourcegraph Rome

For Sourcegraph’s bi-annual retreat, they brought their entire team to the iconic city of Rome, Italy.

Moniker’s team successfully facilitated a balanced week of all-hands meetings, departmental sessions, and activities, and of course, some amazing destination experiences. A bonus was that their meeting coffee breaks included Italian gelato! Unique team-building experiences included a games night and a Super Smash Brothers Tournament. The team also got to immerse themselves in Rome’s unbelievable culinary scene at unique dinner venues each night making for an incredible and delicious week!

Moniker Cartagena Retreat

For our bi-annual retreat, Monikon, the entire Moniker team took off to the colourful and lively city of Cartagena, Colombia!

The team spent the week in a private villa in the heart of Cartagena’s Old Town. As always, we enjoyed a healthy balance of work and play. We spent our mornings participating in valuable company-wide meetings and co-working sessions, but this year we also added a successful and inspiring Hackathon to the mix! In the afternoons, we enjoyed a team icebreaker game while on a catamaran, some time relaxing at a beautiful beach club and one of the most hilarious team-building activities we’ve ever done: salsa class! A highlight was our second annual Moniker Awards where we honoured some of our most dedicated colleagues and celebrated the past year as a team!

Plex Canada

For their annual retreat, Plex brought their entire team to the charming countryside in Montebello, Quebec, Canada.

We had a chance to flex our creative muscles with this year's theme: stepping back in time while embracing the unique Canadian setting! Highlights included an elaborate 1920's murder mystery, a Great Gatsby themed final night and The Great Canadian Games, a tournament of our own invention which included Candian trivia, Caesar-making, a poutine eating contest, a hockey slap shot contest and name that tune with Canadian artists! Balancing both meetings and team-building, this event was certainly one for the books!

Airalo Academy Thailand Retreat

For a truly unique retreat experience, we took the entire Airalo team of 180 people to the stunning beaches of Phuket, Thailand!

With a focus on team-building, the entire group enjoyed a few meetings interspersed with collaborative challenges destination-based activities. The team started their mornings with optional yoga then jumped into meetings or exciting activities such as traditional Thai team-building, ziplining, a delicious food tour, Thai cooking class, boat cruise and even a visit to an elephant sanctuary! The Airalo team left feeling relaxed, aligned and of course, full of Pad Thai!

Real Arizona Retreat

Sunny Scottsdale, Arizona was the perfect place to host the Real Brokerage team retreat this year!

With a heavy focus on team-building, togetherness and relaxation, the group enjoyed some delicious outdoor dinners, an Amazing Race themed team-building activity and some well deserved leisure time. They also use this give everyone new headshots to present a fresh and cohesive look for the company. Needless to say, this fun-filled few days in the sun were exactly what the Real Brokerage team needed to feel refreshed and energized!

Moniker Tuscany Retreat

To honour Moniker’s 10 year anniversary, our entire team went to Tuscany, Italy for a week of togetherness, learning and celebration. We spent the week in a villa participating in hilarious team-building games, valuable team workshops, and some special bucket list experiences.

The Moniker team enjoyed an eye-opening enneagram workshop, department goal-setting breakouts, coworking sessions and educational presentations that left us feeling energized. Activity highlights included a historical scooter tour of Florence, an immersive Italian cooking class, a “La Dolce Vita” themed costume dinner and hot-air ballooning over the Tuscan countryside. Our experience ended with a truly memorable night dining in a Chianti vineyard, toasting to the company’s growth and the team that makes it happen!

Help Scout Mexico Retreat

A global remote software company brought their entire team of 115 people to the white sandy beaches of Tulum, Mexico for their spring retreat. Throughout the week, they participated in group meetings, team breakouts and engaging sessions while also getting the opportunity for some well-deserved relaxation.

The group got to join in on Save the Ocean Project, a perfect team-building activity with a chance to give back. Delicious Mexican cuisine, a catamaran cruise over the turquoise Caribbean waters, a lively karaoke night and a beautiful sunset beach dinner rounded off this exciting retreat and left the entire team feeling recharged.

Vivun Vietnam Retreat

Looking for a unique destination that would ‘wow’ their team for their annual week-long company retreat, fully remote tech company Vivun took the entire group to the exciting and exotic Da Nang, Vietnam.

A fun-filled week both on and offsite, Vivun’s retreat was jam-packed with presentations, unique team-building exercises, funky get-to-know-yous , and adrenaline-pumping activities. With an emphasis on cultural awareness and history of this unique destination, the team headed offsite for a volunteer based day trip, as well as visited local restaurants and participated in classic Vietnamese activities!

Sourcegraph Barcelona Retreat

Seeking out the perfect location for both business and pleasure, Moniker brought Sourcegraph to the perfect location just outside of Barcelona. A 5-night retreat was just what the remote-first team needed to reconnect and regroup.

The ideal mix of business and pleasure, Sourcegraph’s bi-annual retreat in Barcelona was full of engaging workshops, and hilarious team-building such as trivia and karaoke. We added in a few offsite dinners and a number of optional activities, and of course, plenty of free time to soak up the Spanish sun!

Moniker St. Martin Retreat

For our bi-annual internal retreat, we took our entire Moniker team to the stunning St. Martin for an entire week of valuable workshops, epic team-building including a hilarious team olympics and of course some amazing activities in the Caribbean sun!

Plex Greece

A longtime client wanted to take their team to Greece for a week-long themed company retreat full of scavenger hunts, offsite activities, and dress-up dinners!

For a truly epic team-building experience, we threaded a Greek mythology-inspired plot and corresponding team challenges throughout the retreat in beautiful Mykonos. Adventure activities through Greek ruins and beach days on the coast led into fun and unique team-building workshops, company-wide meetings, and engaging seminars. The themed dinners put a creative twist on work-related affairs, and created a fantastic backdrop for many of the on and offsite activities.

Sourcegraph Mayakoba Retreat

Looking for a perfect blend of high-energy activities and beachside relaxation, remote company Sourcegraph brought their team together to a high-end resort in sunny Cancun for one of their week-long bi-annual corporate retreats.

The perfect location for leisure and business, Mexico provides the perfect backdrop for relaxing in between sessions! Sourcegraph and Moniker planned a full agenda, packed with learning workshops, all-hands meetings, departmental breakout sessions, and of course, some unique team-building games sprinkled throughout the retreat. Don’t worry though, we penciled in lots of beach time!

Moniker Mexico Retreat

In January 2022, the Moniker team traveled to Punta Mita, Mexico for a week-long corporate retreat filled with team-building activities, department workshops, and bucket list experiences.

From valuable sessions on improving our systems and brainstorming new ideas to enjoying pool parties, icebreaker games, and learning to surf, The Moniker team enjoyed the perfect balance between work and play. Moniker Morocco Retreat

Every year we take the Moniker team on a company retreat to somewhere off the beaten path for a week of work, exploration, and time spent together. We spent 7 days with our group, exploring the exotic, and iconic cities of Fez and Marrakesh and we even visited Casablanca to finish off with a bang.

We participated in educational team presentations, valuable workshops, and site visits to numerous promising properties. Somehow, we also managed to squeeze in some bucket-list-worthy activities such as a Marrakesh walking tour, a delicious cooking class, and even camel rides in the desert! Webflow Mexico Retreat

A remote web development company took its entire team of 120 people from around the globe for a corporate retreat on the sunny shores of Mayakoba, Mexico, just north of Cancun for a week. Their main focuses for this retreat were strategy and bonding.

The week was filled with fun and memories including a traditional Mayan-themed dinner on the beach, a 90s-themed house party in a mansion, and an impromptu battle-of-the-bands competition by the poolside. The group also had the opportunity to explore the local attractions of famous ruins, underground cenotes, and an evening spent in nearby Playa del Carmen - the fun never stopped!

Primer Portugal Retreat

An online payment processing and e-commerce company brought together 130 remote employees on a summer corporate retreat near Cascais, Portugal.

The week was filled with exciting team-building activities like soapbox car racing, a scavenger hunt, and a Hawaiian-themed day at the beach. The group sampled delicious Portuguese cuisine and had the opportunity to experience the beauty of Portugal in awe-inspiring venues in the neighboring areas of Sintra and Lisbon. The final night included a glow-in-dark dance party and was a perfect send-off to an amazing company retreat!

Vivun Chamonix Retreat

A remote SaaS Sales technology company wanted to create a unique experience for their first annual company retreat, set against the incredible backdrop of Chamonix in the French Alps.

With a custom ‘Mission Impossible’ theme, our guests were ready to tackle any challenge or team-building activity we threw at them! The company retreat included cross-country, food and wine tours, snowshoeing, scavenger hunts, as well as some skiing in the picturesque Chamonix-Mont-Blanc mountain range. The final dinner was a truly spectacular night, with the group whisked away by a private train to an alpine lodge atop a mountain - complete with a fondue dinner which capped off an unforgettable first retreat together!

Salesloft Mexico Retreat

We flew in almost 400 employees of a sales technology company from across North America to the sunny shores of Playa Mujeres, 30 minutes north of Cancun, for a 3-day company retreat adventure.

By creating and managing strict Covid-19 safety protocols both pre-trip and on-site, we ensured everyone returned home safe and healthy. And of course, we created an unforgettable and unique experience for the guests including a fleet of catamarans, drone shows, fire dancers, synchronized swimmers, and culminating in a huge Dia de los Muertos-themed bash!

Plex Colorado Retreat

We brought together 70 employees from all around the world for a corporate retreat in Colorado. Our client wanted to parody “‘Murica” to embrace all the cliches and hilarity that come with this stereotype and welcome all the international employees traveling for this exciting retreat.

A highlight was the elaborate game of outdoor laser tag across the entire resort that involved trip wires, smoke bombs, and helicopters! In between retreat team-building sessions and company workshops, we also put together full-blown rodeos, off-road jeep safaris, and a “Burning Man” inspired final event. We wowed attendees with our seamless execution of the theme and all that the U.S. of A had to offer!

LiveCA Prince Edward Island Retreat

A virtual CPA firm with employees across Canada came together for their annual corporate retreat in picturesque Prince Edward Island, famed for its pink sand beaches, seafood, and world-renowned hospitality.

This week-long retreat included days filled with strategy sessions, presentations, and workshops, a Murder Mystery Dinner, and a truly unique "islander" experience - Lobster Trap Fishing (complete with a fiddling fisherman and impromptu jigging session!) - highlighting a truly memorable experience in Canada's friendliest province.

Plex Honduras Retreat

Survivors! Are you ready? We brought 90 people from around the world together to participate in one of the most epic corporate retreats ever done. We “marooned” everyone in the tropical jungles of the Honduran coast, tucked away between crystal-clear Caribbean waters and jungles teeming with exotic birds, shower porcupines, and mangrove trees.

With the team split into tribes, they faced off in a battle of the wits and willpower to out-nerd, out-smart, and out-awesome each other in a series of challenges aimed to crown one champion tribe! Not only was it wicked fun but the Survivor theme was perfect for retreat team-building. There was sweat, there were tears, and most importantly, there was Wifi!

Plex Switzerland Retreat

A remote company was looking for a truly unique experience with a theme that would encourage some fun competition and team-building during their annual corporate retreat. Enter, Gstaad Switzerland, and an epic James Bond Secret Agent-In-Training theme.

With this bespoke theme in place, our newly minted spies were in for a ride. Custom-built escape rooms, iPad scavenger hunts utilizing the Swiss rail system among multiple towns, and a truly spectacular night at the top of the alpine lodge - this unique and exciting company retreat was certainly worth writing home about.

Camp Wealthsimple Retreat

A fintech startup from Toronto wanted to celebrate a major milestone and bring together their whole team to celebrate, relax and connect. A rustic yet beautiful summer camp in Muskoka provided the perfect setting for a corporate retreat for 90 team members.

We put together an exciting weekend filled with strategy workshops, work sessions, and presentations in the mornings followed by afternoons of traditional camp activities. Archery, canoeing, frisbee, and maybe even some songs by the campfire with s’mores, this group had a fantastic time laughing, learning, and celebrating!

TheoremOne Tuscany Retreat

A remote software consulting firm with employees from around the world took over their very own 13th-century castle in Tuscany for a week of strategy, meetings, and team-building as part of this California-based company's annual corporate retreat.

Epic team-building activities included dragon-boat racing under the Ponte Vecchio and “The Italian Job”, a custom-built Amazing Race-style bank heist challenge that involved racing Fiat 500s throughout Tuscany. The week was filled with fun icebreaker games, valuable workshops, and incredible team dinners all backdropped by incredible scenery. 'La Dolce Vita' indeed!

Plex Thailand Retreat

A remote company wanted to explore a part of the world most of their team had never been to, and experience the magic of Thailand during their annual company retreat. We brought 100 people from near and far together for a trip through the dazzling streets of Bangkok and the stunning beaches of Koh Samui.

With a custom 'Indiana Jones' theme, our museum curators explored both locations in search of the mysterious Siamese Skull. Custom-built escape rooms and iPad scavenger hunts took our attendees all over, including a day trip to the National Marine Park and a final awe-inspiring Full Moon Party - this was a corporate retreat to remember.

Bombas Catskills, New York Retreat

An apparel company wanted to bring its whole team into the wilderness for a company retreat near NYC of bonding after a period of rapid growth and a lot of new faces.

We headed to the NY-state countryside to a gorgeous estate immersed in nature for a ton of team-building with a rustic spin. We ran relay races, fireside chats, and s'mores, not to mention less traditional challenges such as cardboard boat building and an epic lip-sync battle as the grand finale. This remote location was perfect for bringing everyone together, fostering connection, and creating the building blocks for a successful and positive team.
